About Universitas Indonesia Supermileage Vehicle Team
UI Supermileage Vehicle Team is a group of students who represent Universitas Indonesia in Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE) and Shell Eco-Marathon Asia (SEM Asia). Two teams - Nakoela (Prototype Gasoline) and Sadewa (Urban Gasoline) send annually to the competitions.
Since 2010, UI-SMV has succeed to constantly won national or international trophies each year. Last year, despite all the limitation due to COVID-19 breakout, UI-SMV still managed to win six categories from Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE). Adjusting to a full-online competition, this year, Sadewa's team from UI-SMV won 2nd place beating more than 50 foreign teams as well as being the only Indonesian representative in the Shell Eco-Marathon, Road to 2050.
With numerous challenges from Shell Eco Marathon and KMHE coming ahead, we will need supports to win and make our university and Indonesia proud.
We Design
Since 2010, we have focused on researching and creating our best design to invent the most fuel-efficient vehicles.
We Build
Our workshop is located at Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia. We work in our workshop daily to build our cars, test our researches, or test our cars and continue working on our researches. We always do our best to ensure the safety of our members and follow the health protocols carefully.
We Race
We will secure our titles and prepare the most efficient vehicle for KMHE 2023 and SEM Asia 2024.

Arjuna Team
Arjuna is a vehicle that is powered by electric motor which makes it noiseless. It usually competes in the Urban Electric Vehicle category. It has a very light weight due to its body material that is made from carbon fibre. Arjuna had participated in KMHE and SEM before and is looking forward for more achievements in the future.
Nakoela Team
Nakoela is a prototype concept vehicle that is made to last for a very long distance with very high efficiency. It has proven its capabilities in many contests which includes the national record of 1143km/litre of fuel consumption and is the reigning champion of the Prototype Gasoline Category in KMHE for one decade.
Sadewa Team
Sadewa is an urban concept vehicle that uses gasoline as its fuel. It’s body is also made from high quality carbon fibre which makes it very light weight. It also has high efficiency in fuel consumption which is about 375 km/litre. Sadewa have received many achievements globally and is looking forward for more!

Universitas Indonesia Supermileage Vehivle has won a staggering total of 28 Total Awards in international and national competitions
We have won a total of 9 International Awards which includes Shell Eco-marathon in Asia and Globally
We also have won a total of 17 National Awards from Kompetisi Mobil Hemat Energi in Indonesia
